I'd like to start buying from Craigslist & used furniture stores, but I have such a hard time figuring out if I'm getting a good price! What's your advice?

I like to stay under $100 for a piece, but if it's one I intend on keeping and it's made really well, I'll pay more. If you're planning on reselling, consider the amount of time it'll take you to refurb and what you'd like to sell it for to see how much you're willing to invest. Hth!
