Yarn Giveaway - Yarn It Forward Day One!!

As promised... the yarn stash that I'll be yarning forward to some lucky peops!!


It's a mixture of different fibers and different textures, each perfect for someone's knitting needles out there. 

Now, this is how the Yarn It Forward giveaway will work:
Each day, a different giveaway will be posted.  There are several ways to enter:
  1. Leave me a comment telling me what you'd make if you won! 
  2. Be a Google follower of home.made. and let me know you are!
  3. Tweet about this giveaway and let me know you did!
Once all of the stash has been listed, winners will be chosen by a random number generator. (That means you have the entire time to enter for each yarn giveaway...) I'll post all of the winners here on the blog, on Twitter, and I'll notify you by email that you've won.  Sound easy enough?  Okay, then let's get started!

    The baby cashmire looks wonderful - I find most wool very itchy so would love to make some gloves out of this for myself :) and maybe some for a friend with the other ball :p

  5. I would make a cardigan for one of my daughters. I'd use the yarn that didn't "fit" weight-wise for embellishment.

  7. Beautiful yarn! I wouldn't be able to make anything but my lovely grandmother who is pretty confined to just sitting all the time, is an avid knitter. I'd give this to her so she could create one of her fabulous scarves or blankets.

  8. I think a scarf would be lovely out of the lighter color...maybe even use the lighter weight dark plum for trim/fringe!
